New Product - Jig Auditorium Chair
The popular Jig chair is now available without armrests in a version which can be linked in rows as an auditorium chair of exceptional comfort. It’s available with a unique horizontally stacking dolly which can carry 12 chairs.

Tio Seat Pad Fabrics
For the Tio Seat Pads we use Sunbrella fabrics. These fabrics will dry within minutes after being showered with water, they are also mold resistant. Sunbrella superior pigments are added during the production of fade-resistant Sunbrella fibre. The final result is Sunbrella yarn and fabric with colour throughout that won’t fade or wash away.

The Tramshed
Massproductions will be part of The Tramshed, a design event that premiered at London Design Festival 2010. The Tramshed is seeking to be a departure from conventional trade exhibitions and this years event has the motto to celebrate the industrys diversity in the broadest sense. Massproductions / CODE11
Come and experience Massproductions at the Copenhagen Design Fair, CODE11. You will find Massproductions at the following stands: B3-155 and B3-164. CODE11 is a selective trade fair which takes place from 1st-4th September 2011 and offers interesting exhibitors and a wide variety of activities. Massproductions / Rendez-Vous
Massproductions will contribute with a furniture installation at the Rendez-Vous Hommes fashion fair in Paris, 24th - 26th of June. The installation which includes the Tio Collection and our new upholstery collection "Crown" will take place in the entrance to the fair. Massproductions is represented in France by Le Studio des Collections.

Albert in the V&A Reading Rooms
Perhaps the nicest bookshop in London at the moment is the one run by the Victoria & Albert museum in Brompton. We are very proud that the museum picked the Albert Stool as their guest chair. The V&A Reading Rooms is located at No.8 Exhibition Road, South Kensington, London SW7 2HF.

Tio Tray Table
We have now introduced a wooden tray to be added to dia.60cm Tio tables. The tray sits on top of a metal table top and is held in place by its rim. Available in four finishes, Natural Beech, Natural Oak, White and Black stained Beech, the tray is a simple way to add function to a Tio table.

One of Stockholm’s best new restaurants this summer is “Gården Bar & Grill” at Norra Bantorget. In only a few years this once blank spot on the map has transformed into a lively place with high quality restaurants, bars and hotels. A lovely place to relax in a Tio Easy Chair and enjoy a glass of champagne.

The Massproductions collection will be presented in its own pop up showroom at Via Varese 12, in the heart of the Brera Design District. We will be presenting our new upholstered products "Crown" & "Jig" as well as a selection of our existing pieces.

New Tio Colours
We have added four new colours to the Tio collection, bringing the total now available to eight. The colours, three pastels and a silver finish, have been carefully selected to bring vibrancy and delight to the Spring months and beyond. All Tio colours are available for all Tio products, both seating and tables – meaning that a strong, uninterrupted colour statement can be made in your project.

New Upholstery Collection - Crown
The Crown armchair and easy chair create a dignified and elegant sitting experience with just four upholstered panels. They have a light, open back design with fully upholstered side panels which give a sense of volume despite the chair’s low weight.

New Table Series - Bit
A small family of side tables based on a single column made from laminated wood. The Bit tables feel like left over architectural experiments and are themselves an eloquent demonstration of structure and strength.

The Stockholm Furniture Fair is about to open its doors to the furniture design world. Massproductions is to participate and we are very excited to introduce 3 new product ranges all designed by Chris Martin.

The Harry Catalogue
The Harry stool draws its visual language from traditional Japanese joinery techniques and Torii shrine gates. Harmonious shapes and fine craftsmanship combine to make a charming stool suitable for many situations. This catalogue is beautifully photographed by Julia Hetta.

The history of waiting tables
“For some reason, waiters tend to not write their own history. To make matters worse, writers who create fictional waiters tend to be, well, just plain.” Under the title “The Waiter - Random thoughts on the history of waiting tables”, writer Elin Unnes has together with photographer Julia Hetta created an alternative catalog for our new product, The Waiter Chair.

Tio at the National Museum...again
First the Tio café table was selected for the permanent collection of Sweden's National Museum. The museum has a mandate to preserve Swedish cultural heritage and promote, interest in and knowledge of historical and contemporary design. Now we are proud to anounce that the Tio Chair will join the table in the permanent collection.

The Sander Table at Svenskt Tenn
We are celebrating one year in business and to commemorate this we are launching a new product, sold exclusively through the Svenskt Tenn store in Stockholm. The piece is a side table made entirely out of glass, consisting of a handcrafted conical base attached to a hardened glass top using ultraviolet cured adhesive.

Awarded with the Golden Chair
The Tio Chair has been awarded this years prestigious “Golden Chair 2009” award by the Swedish Association of Architects. The prize was given at a ceremony in Stockholm’s Concert House on 4th December 2009. Read the jurys justifications here.

Tio Collection in Tokyo
We are very pleased to be presenting the Tio collection to Japan now. It will be on sale through the renowned “Living Motif” store in Roppongi from Spring 2010. Operated by AXIS Inc., Living Motif is one of the first interior design stores on this scale and level in the world, with a history of almost 30 years now.
